Bio: 1987 gab der beim Tanzvolk als DJ Boost bekannte Michael Hackl sein Debüt als Disc Jockey. Und fasst in seiner Pionierzeit in der Zentralschweiz an zahlreichen Veranstaltungen Fuss. Bereits damals hatte er einen sechsten Sinn für neuartige Sounds. Er legte den in der Schweiz noch wenig etablierten hip und club house auf.
1993 initiierte er die erste Technoparty im Raum Luzern. Ein Jahr später markierte er dann auch auf eigenem Lovemobile (DJ Kollektiv "Texa & Co") an der Streetparade Präsenz. Für 2. Akt sowie Up Space angefragt, avancierte er zu einem der wichtigsten DJ’s in der Zentralschweiz.
Seinen 1. Auslandauftritt verbuchte er in Como. Auch in Zürich war man jetzt auf den vielfältigen DJ aus dem innerschweizerischen aufmerksam geworden. Im Ruby, in der Kanzlei und im Supermarket wusste er dem Publikum zu gefallen.
Der Umzug in die Limmatstadt und das Engagement in einem angesagten Record Shop (Tracks Records später DJ BEAT) als Vinyl Verkäufer leiteten eine neue Ära ein. Als Resident in "Valentino’s Paradise", im Zoo oder an halblegalen Parties in den Zürcher Katakomben, in Tunnels, Garagen, Lagerhallen auf Schiffen und Eisbahnen, in Hotels, Schlösser und Burgen, am See und Meer und in den Bergen. Es folgten regelmässige Bookings im Supermarket, Pravda und Matrix und natürlich als Q-Boost Resident im Club Q.
Präsenz: Bis heute hat DJ Boost an unzähligen Anlässen aufgelegt, u.a. für Radiostationen, alle Jahre an der Streetparade und an einziger Abschlusskundgebung oder Raves wie Unity, Goliath, Evolution, Odyssey, Futurescope. Clubs wie Rohstofflager, OXA, Kaufleuten, Mad, Du Theatre... Konzert Afterparties für Boney M, Weather Girls, Jestofunk oder Modjo.
Events für u.a. CH EXPO, Adidas, Red Bull, Schweizer Börse, UBS...

CV: In 1987 Michael Hackl alias DJ Boost made his debut as a dj in Central Switzerland. Around the district you could enjoy him at various parties and in different clubs. At that time he already played the hardly known hip house and club sound.
In 1993 the first techno party in the area of Lucerne took place. DJ Boost was smartly promoting it with a live set and an interview to Marek (Mr. Streetparade) on radio Lora. He then showed up on the Lovemobile of the dj collective "Texa & CO”, which he had co-founded. Bookings in Zurich clubs like the "2. Akt” and the "Up Space” followed. As a result, DJ Boost became one of the most popular disk jockeys in the heart of Switzerland.
In 1996 he gave his debut abroad gig in Como. As a matter of fact, he had been booked for in-clubs like "Ruby”, "Kanzlei” and "Supermarket”. It was time now to settle down in Zurich. For promoting and success reasons, you guess. With a new flat and a new job as a vinyl seller, he finally got his desired reputation.
He became resident at "Valentino’s Paradise”, at "Zoo club” and did also semi-legal parties at "Katakomben”. Bookings at "Supermarket”, "Pravda” and "Matrix” followed. And then, he first made his journey to Germany for rocking a club.
Appearance: Nowadays, he plays as resident DJ at the Q-Boost-Parties in the "Q-Club”, which are named after him, as well as at "Kaufleuten”, "Zoo”, "Kanzlei”, "Supermarket”, "OXA”, "Indochine” or "Mad”. Also at Raves he was seen and the story goes on. Notably at Unity, Goliath, Evolution, Odyssey, Futurescope, University-Parties etc.
Concert-organiser soon paid attention on the talented DJ and booked him as supporting act of Boney M , Weather Girls, Jestofunk or Modjo.
In June 2007 his 11th CD "Chill House Love 2007” comes out.
